What file formats are supported?

Postby Definite Jiving on 07 Feb 2015, 04:04

What file formats can be used with Cross DJ Pro for Android?

The Google Play page only says "This music player is compatible with MP3s, AAC, FLAC and more." It doesn't say what "more" refers to.

I was unable to play my AIFF files. I like the format because I can include a label scan as a meta tag. Cross DJ was rejecting my files which are encoded at 32 / 44000. I had some hi res files sampled at 24 / 96000 which I tried and, lo and behold, they work! So it is possible to play AIFF files when sampled at the higher rate. Who would have thought. I am surprised at how long it has taken to find the answer. Just resample your existing files at 24 / 96000 and play on.
