Re: Updated MIDI mapping for DDJ-SX2

The only thing i can do is join the user Cross DJ app store group which I did back in Dec 2014. Not sure what else I need to do to get some help. Someone please advise. Thank you.
My issue is that the built in MIDI mapping does not allow me to pre que my music. Seems not to work correctly no matter what setting I use. I really want to use Cross instead of Serato.

Audio dropouts? Increase audio 'buffer size' value.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

I found out I need to send an email copy of my App Store purchase to this forum so I can get a license emailed to me. However not yet received anything back so waiting for the response.

Thx

Well I guess I won't be getting any help here, day 2 and still no License sent to me. What puzzles me is that the built in MIDI mapping for the DDJ-SX does not work on the pre que. If i set to double stereo, I hear both sides at same time. Cannot isolate just to one side. :(

If the mix fader is turned right you mix master volume with cue volume to headphone.

License will be there in a couple of days. It's not limiting the use as you have the current version.

99% of the DDJ-SX map works with the DDJ-SX2.

For the DDJ family of controllers the Cross GUI should be set as follows:

Cue Monitor = Max
Cue Mix=Min
Master Volume=Max
Once set you control any variations from the controller itself do not change the GUI.

Thank you RoJec and FigDj, but I do not understand what you are explaining. Are you saying I need to to set this on the controller or the Cross DJ app? i cannot find these controls on either.I don't see any Cue monitor or cue gain controls in the GUI.

the DDJ-SX2 has a Cue button over each channel which i usually turn on to hear what is playing on that channel. Then there is a middle button for Master Cue.Then there is the rotary button for headphones Mix.

the only way i hear anything on the headphones is if i press the Headphones Mix button and then it follows the Cross fader, so if i slide to left channel which plays the left channel thats when i hear the same left ch on the headphones, then if i slide crossfader to right channel where it play right channel on loudspeaker then i can hear the left channel on the headphones. I need it to be opposite, i want to hear what is opposite the playing channel.

sorry if i am missing something. appreciate your guidance. Thanks
