Maybe we should give mappings their own forum, or perhaps a wiki. That way, we can collaborate and start user-generating them, and improving on the ones built in. When these become proven then perhaps they can be bundled into the main release.
At the moment they are scattered throughout many posts in the archive and in the tech support forum. A central place for mappings would make finding them a bit more user friendly.
I would echo the above thoughts on focusing on the more high-end controllers. At the moment, there are lots of people who say "Go Serato, Go Traktor, or go home." The downsides of both is that trying to get beatgrids and cues in and out of them is very hard, and Rekordbox users have to rely on kludgy workarounds to be able to export them. Cross' partypiece is to do that natively. Mixvibes are aiming at the pro market. I think they need to keep doing that.
On another note, Can we get funky looking Cross stickers for our laptops and gear? High end controller mappings will get Cross respect only if people know it exists and we are using it, in anger, in actual clubs and not just bedrooms, in the first place. Apologies if that last comment is off topic.
