I'm trying to connect my Android phone + Cross DJ android app to U-Mix Control Pro 2. What I'm using is OnePlus One Android phone (Cross DJ runs ok) with OTG USB cable connected to powered USB hub and on the other USB port the U-Mix Control Pro 2. However I don't have that Connect button in the Advanced Settings that is seen in the demo videos I watched on YouTube.
Is it because I initially started with the free app and then I paid in the market for the paid features? I still see that I'm running on Cross DJ free even though I paid. Or that has nothing to do with the setup?
Anyways I tried to passive and active USB hubs to which I connected in any possible way, different OTG cables, I restarted multiple times.. and nothing helped - I just don't have that Connect button.
Please help, is it normal not to have the Connect option and what do I need to do to have the setup working?
Hi, welcome to mixvibes. Don't have the answer for you to get it work. Someone else will have to help you out. But can tell you that it's not the name of the app. It's not allowed for android apps to change name once installed.
Here is the official MicVibes support staff answer:

to me Hi Stefan,
I'm sorry but the MIDI control is not available in the free version, there is no in-app integrated for the moment. To connect your U-Mix Control, you need the Pro app. Let me know if you need any other informations.
Kind regards
Etienne
So my question is since I downloaded the free app but then I paid for all the paid features offered, how does that differ from the Pro app? They shouldn't differ. Also, if I now go for the Pro app directly and I pay again am I going to be refunded for the first payment I made?
Brief update, MixVibes support will be refunding my Value pack purchase so I buy the paid app. This way I should be able to connect he U-Mix Control Pro 2 successfully.
