Hi there, I know that the Free version won't allow me to MIDI map my Denon controller. But I was wondering if it would be possible to test an existing mapping for my controller? I have an MC2000, if anyone is ready to share please? I would like to purchase the full software but would like to see if the mapping is really good, or just good.

Hi All,
Not sure if this is the best place to post this query, just installed the Cross DJ free on my Macbook Air for my MC2000. Unfortunately it does not seem to work, only the vinyl button on my MC2000 is lighted up, the rest like loading tracks, volume adjustments all does not response on the controller. The only option in preferences of Cross DJ free is the selection of Sound Output ( MC2000 ). The rest of the inputs are greyed out.
Does this mean that my Macbook Air is not compatible with Cross DJ Free or must I get the paid version.
Fyi, my fren's Cross DJ which came with his U-Mix works ok for my MC2000 when he came over with his Macbook Pro. Anyone can help ?? Thanks

Hi Wazza, technically speaking, if its a demo, it shld at least be able to sync with the controller at the demo level which shld include at least the play or cue buttons. However, none of these basic fundamental ones work... strange.. The minimum specs are met. Looks like I may need to give up this using this software if the free version can't work, i highly doubt the paid one might for me.

No, it is not a demo. It is a free limited version, which has no MIDI capabilities. In the paid version, MC2000 will be automatically recognized.
