how do u guys feel now that valve is putting cash in ubuntu

so what do u guys think now that valve is putting cash in ubuntu linux.
do u think that ubuntu it being free vs windows and mac be a viable option for us djs when the driver native support is coming out in 2014 for all ubuntu cause of valve's steamos.

for those that dont know steam has 55 million users .

I liked ubuntu. It looks gorgeous and it runs really fast.

The reliance on Command Prompt and -Sudo commands will put off 80% of windows users unfortunatley.

IF they could package EVERYTHING like windows does and make it less scary for noobs then they would be onto a winning product.

Also, the help forums are generally populated by techies who cannot explain things in laymans terms.

At least they arent full on hostile like Apple or Windows help forums!!

yes i do see sudo putting off most users and valve talked about how this would put most users off so there going to make it easier .
i dont mind the sudo now that im used to it how ever i would be all for them steam lining it to have it so that u can just update like you do with mac .same with the kernel updates seeing how many times i look for one i was on 3.11 then 3.11.1 and so forth .
they work real fast so if they update it automatically .
then i can see everyone jumping ship .and mixvibes having there DVS in the Ubuntu store .
