Updating Cross Versions, for example 1.7.0 > 1.7.1 will be free

Updating/Upgrading DVS version to Cross version will not be free.

Looking at your Product list under your user name, and I can't see a Cross header. That is why it will cost you.

There is no native mapping for the Traktor Kontrol X1 but you will be able to map the controller yourself with Cross.

If there is mapping for the Traktor Kontrol X1 in the download Centre, then the reason why you can't download it, is because you are not a registered Cross User.

Once you have brought Cross and registered the serial then I believe you will be able to download the mapping.

Hi, im having the exact same problem and wondering how to solve it. Where can i get Cross and is it just software or hardware to?

Ok so if i was to get Cross, which im assuming is just software it would replace the DVS Ultimate software. And I would still be able to use my U-44 mixer and play songs from my iTunes through my turntables.

By doing this you should be able to download any Cross update(s) that are available
