ORDERING Cross ON MONDAY - HELP!(FOUND)

I like Traktor but....there's so many problems with installing audio interfaces.....i had NI interface and that was a nightmare. USB dropouts, conflict wiht graphic card (!!!) driver etc.

ok, 2 more questions:

i don't have laptop, a i have normal PC:

Pentium Dual Core 2.9 Ghz
4 GB RAM
WIN XP

is that enough?

and, do i need preamps? I have Numark TT500.

And how long is guarranty for that?

Like i said, when i have any gigs, i can borrow Laptop. I really don't need laptop at home, so why should i buy one if i can have more powerful PC for less money?

And what about that preamps?

The Cpu will do, you dont need any preamps with the interface that comes with Cross (U46MK2) as it has preamps built in.

Sorry for so much questions about that, but i really don't want to buy something that i would be not able to use.

And about Cross...erm, maybe it's noob questions...but is that good enough for gigs? I mean, is the sound quality and stability good enough, that i can take it for my gig and use it without fear, that it would crash, or the sound would be bad?

hate to cut a conversation,, as mentioned ,DVS has no plans for for futher up dates and Cross is still a work with potential,,, ie vid plug in ,,dont think the price difference is that much to discourage purches ,,also the upgrade option is avaible if you later choose to Cross over to Cross

atm Cross has the best sound, stability and library management of any Software out there. period.

Cross is awesome. light as a feather. both my laptop and desktop have 1.8 dual core cpu and 2gigs of ram and it haven't crashed on me ever.
