Sampling

To whom can help,

I have some question regarding sampling on the mixvibes DVS pro, I understand from the manual that when a loop is running on the mixvibes media player if i am to push send the loop would be sent to a sample pad, now it is sent to the pad but it would be cut short or more than what I set as a loop, it will even sample from a part that I did not set as a cue point, what am I missing here?

what is send to the sampler depends what Sendtype you selected.
Beat: length of sample = lenght of loop value (1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2... Beats)
Loop: currently (active) looped selection is send to sampler

Maybe this causes your problem.

Thank you for the response,
The beat loop value was considered when troubleshooting, I had even over compensated the loop length and the sample that was sent would be still either cut off or to long, never as I send it or set it on the media player, I even consider the quality if the audio source, so I made sure I used a clean digital source and nothing with any sort of distortion, I will continue to mess around with it, if you have any other suggesting plz send it to me, Thanks again.

Just to be sure: do you have the latest MixVibes version installed?

Generally the length is calculated from the players current BPM value. Are your Players BPM values ok?
