Anyone knows if it is possible to have led feedback on launchpad with Cross 2.1 mapping?

Output-mapping is a bitc*, you´ll have to write it yourself in an .xml file.


There´s a how-to-thread in the support-section, personally I can´t help you there.
But lots of guys are pretty into that, so you´ll easily find a helping hand.

It's final, there is no built-in mapping for launchpad. I guess i have to do it the hard way.

Hey,

I prefere you to use Notepad++ or some equal programs there you have high lightning of code and you can see better where you have to edit something.
If you have questions about mapping with xml on Cross post here and we will see what we can do for you.

I already use codeblocks software for my c++ projects, so i'll stick to this.

I don't know nothing about xml coding yet, but i really wanna learn. Will my c++ knowledge be of any help?

Also, how should i start? Should I map my controller with Mixvibes MIDI mapping and then edit the mapping file to have led response?

Hey,

it could help to have information about how to program but XML is not as tricky so it should be mostly easy to edit the file.

And yes I would prefere you to map first with Cross all buttons you want and then after all is done open the file (please close Cross as long you edit this file) and edit the changes.

After you saved the file and closed it you can open Cross again and test it.
