Keep Current Selection when switching Playlists

Postby zummy on 16 Jul 2012, 11:43

Hi,

it would be really nice if Mixvibes would keep the selection for each playlist view individually. I organise my tracks in rather large Playlists to distinguish different styles (so a single playlist can easily have a few hundred songs in them).
Now it's really annoying say I'm at track 300 in playlist A, switch to playlist B and switch right back to A, I'm again at track Number 1. It would be nice if it would stay where it was, at track 300.

+1 for this.

With some of my playlists containing over 1000 tracks this would be an extremely useful feature.
Summer is here! Only 4 things we need - cold beer, hot ladies, loud music, and more cold beer!

First you can see which track has been played, or currently been playing or loaded to a deck, secondly, if you reset playcount on your playlist before each gig, you'll be able to see where you were...

Or you can organise the playlist by "Last played" info

I am, but that´s not the point.

nice feature, but basically it´s 50/50 if it´s useful or annoying in that particular situation.

If people would use "add to prepare" more often, the problem wouldnt be there imo.

Also if you playlists are so big, you can add a shift mapping and jump 10 or 25 tracks when scrolling

On a side-note: Really nice would be if the selected track would stay in the middle of the browser when scrolling, i find this way easier on the eyes.
