Discover DJ not reading my music

Postby dustbuster on 26 Apr 2012, 00:01

I have all of my music on an external drive and have followed the instructions I have found on the tutorial and still only get a few songs to show. ALL of the songs that show are ones I bought on line. I have thousands of songs I ripped from CDs that are not showing up. They show up on other programs on the computer, but will not show up in Cross.

What do I do?

I mapped the drive fine and have been able to use the tracks on SAM Broadcaster. They were all ripped from the CD's to the computer and compiled on the external drive.

Cross can read the files the songs are in, but not the songs. (they are in CD folders that you normally find when ripping music that way.)

I don't use I tunes.

Mr Clark is correct, Cross (and the version you have) does not support Windows Media Audio (WMA) files.

You will either have to convert the files to mp3 or re-rip the files to mp3.
