Is the DVS Ultimate compatible with windows vista home basic service pack 2 ?

DVS 7 was working over here with a laptop comparable to yours BUT with WinXp and Win7. The mixvibes teams recommends Win7 and Xp over Vista as stated on their page. Personally I can say that this is true: Win7 and Xp work much faster and in general better than Vista.

I ditched vista for windows 7 because I was getting drop outs. There was a definite improvement after.
