AAC FILES ISSUE - File too big

Postby sxfoxstar on 06 Apr 2011, 17:07

I have seen from various posts that there is some issue on 64 bit systems with AAC files. Is there anyway to fix this other than converting to mp3 as i have hundreds of files that would need conversion plus i would lose all my iTunes ratings, play count etc information if I then converted to mp3, not to mention the tedious deletion of the original file each time. Is there any update to the software that can resolve the file too big issue

I'm not sure you understood what you have read because aac issues and 64bits issues are differents things.

What version of Cross do you have ?

I have Cross Discovery DJ 1.2.9

My understanding of what I read was that this error message has been recorded as happening when in 64bit versions of windows, is it not? And if not what is causing this issue as the files are not DRM protected.

Not reading some aac files have nothing to do with 64bits sorry.
You should try with the latest 1.3.2 available for Discover DJ to see if it improves things.
If not try with the demo version of Cross DJ (now 1.5.2).
