IDJ3 not scratchin?

I have just gotten IDJ3 and everything on the panel works, I have installed it correctly, and its not scratching? Please could someone help me with this..

I am running Vista and 32 bit..

Did you press the scratch button on the device ?
Does it affect the software ?
Try to switch from cd to vinyl on the GUI.

yea i hit the scratch button and nothing.. i did everything you just said and nothing..

So you'd better contact the Ion support for an exchange of your defective device.
