sound issuses

This is soooo argavating because it's still saying the same thing! When i start up Cross and go perferences, then audio, my setting is on primary sound driver.

Buffer size: 2084 samples (46.4 ms)

My output 1 says left/right
output 2 says none

limiter isn't highlighted (what is this anyways)

routing mode is dual stereo

SOUNDCARD is output 1 is to l/r master on Cross MIXER
output 2 is to l/r cue on Cross MIXER

Try and choose the ASIO4ALL driver from the drop down and see if that helps.

You may need to close and restart CrossDJ.

Thats when I get the error message.
The error msg comes up when I select the ASIO4all......

Hey,

when the message is: "on of the devices is used by another program" you have to close them or do the things I wrote. Under Windows a program can say that it have the ultimative right to the device.
Other programs can't use then the device. To fix that you can disable the exclusive mode unter your sound-options from windows for each device.

That still doesn't work......I believe its not that but idk.
I didn't have that problem b4.
Why is it saying the input channenls are in use? I only have my usb soundcard in hooked up to my headphones for my cue. I did eveerything the last post said too but its still giving me the error msg when i select ASIO4all.
Can somebody remote assist me with this?????

Well im going to be assed out cuz i paid for Cross DJ online.
What im not understanding is the only thing i have plugged in is my usb soundcard and a cooling fan. I did what the other post said about disableing the exclusive option. So what inputs are being used so i can close it. Like i said when select ASIO4all option I get an error msg.

is it still the same? that one of the devices is in use? or a different.

You wrote you have plugged in a USB-cooling fan? Maybee your usb-hub is working to capacity so the soundcard is not getting enough power to work correctly?
After changing the exclusive mode a restart is needed to get everything working. And what happens, when you unplug the fan?
