Internal Mixer and Preview in MV Cross not working

Hey all,
I bought my MixVibes Cross Pack yesterday and immediately hooked it up.

When I was playing with the options, I noticed that there was no crossfader for the internal mixer. The pitch controls are there, but just no crossfader.

What exactly am I supposed to do to "Install updated drivers?"
I have a PC running Windows 7. What are "drivers?"

Furthermore, the "Preview" feature at the bottom left of the screen does not produce audio. I have my headphones turned up, and I song selected. I press the preview button and it registers as sound coming out (right and left bars bounce) but I don't hear anything.

Change your Mixer settings in Cross to internal Mixer and you will see the crossfader
