Trying to map a Hercules Starlight
Cross 3.4.0 - Windows 10

This is the standard suggestion Cross makes when touching the sides of my jogwheel



problem is this does exactly the opposite

when rotating CLOCKWISE = Pitch Bend -
when rotating COUNTER clockwise = Pitch Bend +

so I swapped the values



and now
when rotating CLOCKWISE = Pitch Bend + (succes!)

but
when rotating COUNTER clockwise = nothing happens

Tried playing with the values, but can't get the min-input to react

so what now?

Don't have a MIDI device connected at the moment, so will try to provide some info but you'll have to test yourself.

First would be to try to read the mapping of an other controller (Copy using X2 button if you like)

I do think you need both range to be full, so from 0-1 resp. 1-0.

In some cases the mappings of the same brand are suitable for more products. Depends on how the manaufacturer changes MIDI values. But this might be worthwhile to start with.
