Hello,
I have a NI s4 mk2 and trying to get all the MIDI mapping setup so it works correctly to my needs and then maybe post the mapping later when I feel everything works well.
I have been searching up and down forum post for anyone who had a fully working map setup but no one really has yet.
I like Cross as a better program than traktor and the primary features that Cross has make it easier for me to transition in and out of tracks than traktor, though traktor does have a few things that make certain things work really well.
So I didn't really want to switch to traktor since it lacks the option for multiple beat grids, key match, and a 16 beat marker in the track view option that makes it easy to prepare the next track for transitioning.
I am currently mapping out functions from an older map from and mk1 mapping which somewhat works with certain things not working and having to replace those functions with the correct ones.
The main problem I am having right now is mapping the Jog wheel to scratch or at least move the track forward and backward by touch of the metallic platter on top of the jog wheel while moving the wheel.
I tried mapping the function but it kinda works sometimes where it can only move in one direction, though thats inly just moving the jog wheel on its own without touching the platter, and when I did map out in the touch function for either the scratch or cd jog function, noting really happened except for one time and I don't remember how that was setup.
Someone did recumbent using the vinyl function but there isn't a description anywhere on how to turn that on or to make it work.
and another question would be if Cross had the option to map a knob to browse the selections of tracks and then select/load track into the player/deck you were on.
I spent months try to find the answers though no one really has it or progressed forward on the problem.
Thank you for your time whoever reads.
Until then...

I think it does, I was trying to map out a knob for the key so I can match the key in traktor pro 2 since there wasn't an integrated function of a knob to control the key of each deck even though on the controller it has a light up label for key lock.

some support from manufacture/fourms can give MIDI mapping values and info ,,sort of a decoder for setting up mappings ,, helps in doing what you are trying to accomplish ,, not sure exactly what there called ,,not a MIDI monster ,, MIDI MONSTER,,,MIDI MONSTER
