I know you have to wait until you have access to one, but when you do I would appreciate this Denon MCX8000 Mapping I have been around and gone over to Pioneer recordbox and now serato again and also Denon Engine and I have come full circle yet again and theirs nothing like Cross DJ on the whole. Would be grate if you could also get the screens working, virtual DJ managed this, so if possible Denon MCX8000 Mapping with screens. Thanks

To clarify, VDJ doesn't support the screens (or not fully, not quite sure right now).

In VDj the screens are not yet functional, however, the software is capable of supporting the screens and Atomix VDJ have acknowledge the needs for a map with screens. From VDJ web site a Senior Staff Member "Screens will come too. Just be patient." In Cross version 3.3.11 does not support screens. CAVEAT: This is based on the information that I have available since Mixvibes Cross has not shared (at least not with me) development information relevant to screen support.

Thanks for the Info, I was kind of second guessing as I had seen something about VDJ utilizing the Numark NV MK1 Screens so presumed it was doable for the MCX8000. It would be really nice if we seen this update, I know I am only one but you would not believe how important this would be to me after so much Hopping around and now sticking to the great quality of the MCX. So much appreciate all that you do. Still a little way to go I personally think, but this is still the unsung hero of the digital DJ realms. 10/10

I tried doing a basic control mapping for most major control and some without Led I may add as that is as deep as I can go, but as I have done many times with other controllers this time I have got stuck on the MCX8000 platters and pitch and Encoders, just can seem to figure them out. So would put this call out if anyone else has been able to map these section etc. and could share the mapping I would greatly appreciate that for now.

I just got an MCX8000 as well and would love to see an official mapping for it. I'm going to try mapping it out on my own too; I'll report back.

I am saddened that I may now have to seriously start moving in the direction of Serato as it is clearly not possible to get even a basic function mapping for MCX8000 up and running.
My DDJ-SX (Gold Limited Edition) is in the process of being sold. Once it is gone I will have to move my MCX8000 to be my actual work controller (I still take the SX while I have it, just to be able to play with Cross).
I don't care(for now) if the screens are working or not, I don't mind the lights around the jogs not working. I just want basic functionality of all transport buttons, jogs, pitch-faders, FX buttons, EQ, faders, well, you get my drift.
I really love this controller, it's a mobile DJ's wet dream The only thing that can make it better (apart from the cue lights brightness being higher in contrast between on and off) would be if I could use it with Mixvibes and not have to move over to Serato.
It's a move I don't want to make, but due to the amount of work needed to make it happen, I doubt I would ever come back to Cross once I move to Serato.
Oh well, there is an irony here. I came to Cross when I left Traktor because my MC6000 wasn't supported by Serato and WAS fully supported by Cross. Now that I want to move from my DDJ-SX which is fully supported to Cross to my MCX8000, it's Cross that no longer provides the necessary support.
So, if ANYONE has something useful to report about a basic mapping that will allow me to use the MCX8000 with slightly limited (unimportant details and screens) functionality with Cross, please let me know. My heart is aching with the thought of leaving my beloved Cross and getting acquainted with (yet) another software platform.
