rotary encoders near meter, I realized that:
when the song does not have a saved loop if you push the button you create 4-bar loop.
When the song has a loop saved if you push the button (wherever you want a loop) it creates a loop of length equal to that which is stored

That indicates to me that the push button is working correctly. It should create a loop as indicated on the loop size value in the deck.

The rotary portion should allow you change the size of the loop by stepping thru the loop size values.

In use you would use the rotary to select the size and then push it to activate the loop on the selected value.

In TV6 does the rotary works to selct the value of the loop?

yes, it if you can (same virtual DJ)

OK, I can change it to work that way.

Version 4 - 2 knobs simultaneously light is perfect
Version 6 - works but no light

I will change those to the version TV4

have not mapped that one yet.

Good, we are getting close. One by one the map is getting closer to completion.

not one by one but jumps blocks ...

I need you to create a map with just 1 command and hen send it to me.

Using the MIDI learn create a command for the SELECT rotary that is mapped to Browse Active Browsable in the track rack section.
Use the Inc-Dec Integer Fader/Knob Selection.

Once in that selection
The BACKWARD
Range Begin= 0x7F
Range End=0x41
FORWARD
Range Begin=0x1
Range End=0x3F

STEP
Value=1
Send the map to me with a little description of how it is working or not. From those values I will be able to estimate the correct sensitivity to map it right.

you ask: In TV6 does the rotary works to selct the value of the loop? no, no lights and does not change the loop.

you have seen the previous post?

Hi, I did not see the problem ...
encoders placed over S4 button:
strangely in this version (v6) up and down the songs but always jumping groups (no one by one)...
contrary to encoder placed over S2 button which shall function regularly (but not light)
--------------------------------
tonight I make maps only "select" ...
Thanks

I guess you referring to the encoder above S4 as the selector in the center of the controller.

The rotary encoders above S2 and for that matter any knobs on the top left and top right are sequential encoders the center the selector in the center is an endless encoder. I am just stating all of this so we can refer to them in terms common to both of us.

The command that I needed map is
Browse Active Browsable not Track browser. the correct command should be close to the top of the track rack section in MIDI learn.

Any way I made some changes to the selector knob to see if it works this time.

I also mapped the light for shift.
When testing this one, the shift command and LED are independent for each player. So make sure it works on the LEFT for player A switch then for player B. on the RIGHT for player B switch then for player D.

I changed the filter light to be on while in the center position and blink while either to the left or the right.
I also made some changes to the knobs next to the level meters. See if they work to change the loop value.

I have not yet mapped the LEDs for the rotaries next to the level meters. I will do so once we get the knobs working correctly because in order to test for the proper LED function the knob must be working correctly 1st.

Anyway here is TV7 test away and let me know.
Looking for proper operation of
ring LEDs for filter lights
ring LEDs after activating effects
LED for shift button in all 4 Players
proper operation of the selector button
proper operation of the loop encoders

I meant exactly the knob / button located above S2. The first test does up and down the songs ... now it works right! this is strange...

Doesn't have to be strange.. you can only go up/down in track rack if this is the active browsable...
you can also have the tree or left node dock as browsable...
Don't worry.. FigDJ will work it all out... Great you provide the quick test results.. will save him lots of time as modifications are still in mind..
