light dj-tech dragon two

Postby ROZE61 on 18 Jan 2016, 19:44

Hi, I bought a dj-tech (dragon two) and mapping is ok, but do not work almost all the lights. My mapping is simple because not use effects, sync, sampler, loop and other strange things, but I would like working lights on Cue, VU-meter LED left / right, start/stop and points 1/2/3/4. Can you help me?
Thank you

If you can post an english user manual, perhaps I can help if the MIDI tables are found within the manual. Also post your current MIDI map for reference.

There is plenty of good information within the files that you posted. However, the tables refer to the buttons on the controller by zones. perhaps an Owner's manual will explain which zone is which. Without that information it would take someone that owns the controller a very long time to map by doing trial an error let alone someone like trying to map it from documentation.

In summary, see if the owner's manual can be posted here in pdf. That document may reveal the information needed to satrt mapping.

OK, following a study of the documentation, I will start mapping.

However, I need some questions answered and a couple of test to be done in order to verify that i am interpreting the data corectly.

1. On the controller's top left corner, do the knobs are also pushbuttons?
2. Do the Gain, Hi, MID, LOW and filter knobs also pushbuttons?
3. Are the rotary encoders near the channel meters also pushbuttons?
4. is the cue mix knob also a pushbutton?

Can you create a new map just to test couple things.
make sure your controller is set for 4 deck mode
make sure player A and B are selected.

In a blank map, using Cross MIDI learn
map the cue points 1 to 8 for player 1 to

S1,S2,S3,S4,Browser, Sampler , Effects, and Record.
please post the map here.

I know the map doesn't make any sense. however, I just want to see the response from Cross MIDI learn so I can assign channels to different functions correcly.
