Is anyone here really clever?

Postby djnumix on 13 May 2014, 22:49

I have re-mapped my Akai LPD8 to do wonderful things...Its my first try at mapping and its helped me to make my controller extremely useful for my needs!

Can anyone help me though with 2 things:

1 Say for instance I change programme bank and change the volume of a sample. I then change programme bank again and use the same knob to say control the gain of a deck...The gain will immediately jump to wherever the knob is which is a bit of a pain.

2 Is there an easy way to tell the LPD8 to stay lit up if a sample is playing or a pad is in use

:surprised:

in order to map the lights to do what you want, you must put your controller in remote LED mode then map the LEDs to respond to the padcontrol command.

As far as gain knob in order them for them not to be jumpy when switching from one bank to the other you must set normal MIDI takeover for each one.

you can only map input command within Cross. For output commands (LEDs) you must do it manually or use the MIDI mapping output utility that is posted in the forum.
