3) Unable to get led's to flash like on-screen
4) Unable to map fx dry/wet slider to amount - It just goes crazy??
5) Unable to map vu meters to strip search led's
6) Unable to map strip search properly - it kinda works.

7) No fader request at startup - make sure you move the slides up & down at least once before playing anything!!!
The jog response is unbelievable

Red : where I'm stuck.
Green : done.

For #7 with the MIDI take-over it isn't really an issue.

Then your mapping isn't too far from complete :)
Although the MIDI takeover is usefull in some circumstances, Cross starts with its faders up. So if you press play before moving the sliders all the way up and down again, the sound will come blasting thru (depending on your amps levels). It was the same with Traktor. This is really only an issue because Numark refuse to release the MIDI commands for the Ns6.

6) Unable to map strip search properly - it kinda works.

My bad, this work for me too, it is the leds position near the strip search that act strangely for me, not the strip himself. ;)

I have a deal for you guys!
I'll make the code for the leds on the NS6.

I need a small documentation of led positions on the controller, the MIDI notes and channels of the leds, and what behaviours do you want to the leds.

With these info, I'll make the code for the output mapping, that you can place into the mapping file.

So here it is, I hope it all makes sense to you.
Numark NS6 MIDI COMMANDS.rtfd.zip

This is purely the MIDI output commands for the led's (what the unit receives) I really hope you didn't need the send commands, coz that'll take some time to jot down - especially for jog's.
Thanks again for your help.

I'm cracking it right now. One question. If you press the layer button, does it change by itself, or id does not light up at all? I mean, that it must be a hardware swtich not a software one, so it sould signal the correct deck selection even if nothing is mapped to it.

And: What to you want to map for the strip-search leds? Could you map the that strip for track search?

EDIT: Man I need a lot of brainpower here. I like challenges :D
