Please add in Settings for Synch mode = 1 beat (the closest) , toavoid unwanted music shift on tap SYNC when beatgrid is not well fit (automatic scan could place first beat on the 2nd/3rd/4th beat).

and manual beatgrid setting require time in a live set

The Cue is set to the first beat of the cycle (and so also bar).

For music with a constant beat your solution can be of help. However many tracks are following the bar/cycle principle which make the syncing to beat 2/3/4 sound 'off'.

As mentioned it can be good, but then the next issue appears which is that the ability to sync to the beat appeared to be easier said then done. In the PC/MAC version it is present for like 20 years, but in testing for the android it appeared to be not working properly on many devices, usually due to higher CPU demands.

As time has passed since it may be that it could be worth putting back on the wish list to see if it can work in the current smartphone era.

So thanks for bringing it back up.

For programmers, if it will be easier to insert a button
eg.: "|... "
in Beatgrid edition, for moving/reorganize bar/cycle to a quarter forward (one beat forward) during play, it's just perfect for me, (in one/two or three tap user can set the right start of cycle).
Beatgrid is CrossDJ App (Android) is very precise, but often the start cycle is not on the right beat.

Thanks

If only it would work that easy.

However the Cue beat may not be the first beat, this doesn't mean you can move the bar/cycle just like that. If that would be the case the algorithm would have a bug. Only in some of the electronic music tracks it may not have any impact.

However there is no doubt that the Cue isn't always at the position you want it to be. Some songs have characteristic start before the calculated Cue point. So sometimes you would like these to be audible and have to shift the Cue (not necessarily the grid). Also the opposite applies. when mixing at high energy level you have to start way later in the track.

Of course one can play/mix with shifted bar/cycle on purpose to use this 'effect'. And for this you need you initial suggestion (beat sync). What you wouldn't like to happen is the grid info to be wrong as in other situations you may need the true cycle. Not just when mixing in but also for the next track to be in sync.

I up this request, the easiest and useful! Thanks

Mind when you mix next track but old track that is playing is out of phase for one beat, with this new button the old track beatgrid can be fix without panic
