Viewing folder content from U-Mix Remote on iPad

Being able to view the content of the folder at least would make us able to DJ while walking within the croud... this would be a sick feature i don't mind a top slider like we do with left deck/rigth deck of mixer... aside of that software is working like a charm so far! thanks,

Yep, being able to browse your collection or browse though a folder on the U-Mix Remote will be a top feature.
Hopefully (fingers crossed) this will be possible in a future update.

Already announced on this forum by the U-Mix Remote project manager. It's on the right way and a next step.

Maybe I will repost a question related to U-Mix on iPad here ...
I too have had success using the iPad app to control CrossDJ, but else where I commented that I had some problems with the streaming of the preview audio to help choose the next tune.
It seems to playback choppy, sometimes a bit off pitch. A couple of times it seemed to play well but that was short lived, then the choppiness returns.
Since you make no mention of this, am I correct that the preview audio on the iPad always sounds good for you?
If so, I wonder what is the source of my preview issue?

Hi,
I tested with 128 / 192 / 320 mp3, and the preview is working well. Sometimes the streaming quality will be very bad for one track, but after disconnect / reconnect, it works well for this track...
I would say it's a Wi-Fi issue.

Thanks for the followup Luziano.
If it's generally working well for you, (all my mp3 are at 320) I'm thinking it must be a wifi bandwidth issue as well.
Maybe something to do with the Macbook and it's wifi implementation - it's a 2007 Macbook.
For now, I guess it will remain a mystery.
