Analyze songs on desktop before moving to Android?
Posted: 11 Apr 2020, 23:44Is it possible to analyze songs on the desktop app and copy the database to the Android one? It would be great to avoid waiting for analysis and having a set ready to go.
No. This is not possible. Android uses the Mediabase as the main database for all tracks. Whereas Cross Win/OSX use a seperate database. Also filestructure in Android is different.
In all some difficulties which make it hard to do this or make an app that could control all conversion steps needed. Especially when taking in consideration that 100s of Android versions exist that each gradually change over time.
