Still very strange issue.
Especiallyas you're the only one reporting this. Might just be beause you're the only one noticing...

So there's not to much to work with on trying to duplicate the problem.

Could you maybe provide a track file that doesn't show? Please zip the file first to make sure any change in filename syntax is avoided in the transfer proces.

Why do I get no response from anyone?
Am I an isolated case and if so why?
Yesterday I made a playlist with 27 mp3 files that can be perfectly played on my smartphone, on an USB stick in my car. On my Desktop and laptop. Even on Cross DJ Pro for Windows! All no problem.
When I try to load the playlist in the Cross DJ app for Android it comes up competely empty??
I can browse through all other mp3 files but none of the 27 freshly added files are being recognized.
Imo there must be something wrong with the way the app identifies mp3 files.
And I have no idea what causes this,
I've tried :

-Re-downloading files
-Clearing and re-adding ID3 tags (standard character Unicode)
-Even re-encoding mp3 files
-Force Android media rescan
-Stop both apps music player and Cross and clear cache
-Reboot phone

But nothing seems to work.
It's very frustrating as I like to use the app.

Yes you seem unique in having this issue.

COuld you please explain what you do by ' adding a playlist'. As I haven't seen a fature where you can import a playlist.

Could you provide some tracks that don't work. Please in a zip file so characters in filenames can not change.

Just trying to helkp you finding a duplicateble circumstance in addition to you having it happen on an irregular base.

Thanks for answering.
This issue is just weird.

I use an Android app as music player called Musicolet. It can export it's playlists to Android's Mediastorage and this works perfectly for most mp3 files.
In CrossDJ I see these playlists in the playlist tab and for the recognized mp3 files I can just load these playlists and the songs appear.
The playlists that have been exported by Musicolet to Android Mediastorage directly appear in Cross DJ's playlist tab.

I don't think it has anything to do with my music player as I've tried to add mp3 files in other directories not part of the path that's used by Musicolet so they haven't been "processed" by Musicolet.

I remembered I have an old tablet lying around here so I installed Cross DJ and did the test.
The specific files do show up and play in Cross DJ. So it must indeed be a device specific problem on my OnePlus 7T Pro.
Too bad because I collect all my music on my phone and the tablet is old and slow.

FOund this in the FAQ for Android.

Not sure if it rewsolves your issue but maybe you're lucky:
========
[Tracks] Why can’t I seek on a track or load a track?
It seems you have the “Protection” mode on. To deactivate it:
1. Go to Settings and select Advanced Settings
2. Turn off the “Protection (Seek and Load)” parameter.

It's definitely 100% an app issue!!
On my old tablet with an older Android version the same thing happens. Some of the mp3 files are not recognized and thus cannot be added.
And proof that it's not about the mp3 itself is the fact that in my latest case files that are recognized on my smartphone in CrossDJ are not recognized on my tablet and vise versa. So it must be an app issue. Cross DJ's audio file recognition algorithm isn't what it should be.

Edit : I found converting the mp3 to m4a fixed the problem. So something most be going on with the mp3 detection.

Since a week I'm on a new device. Switched from OnePlus 7T Pro to Oppo Find X2 Pro. Hoping the mp3 recognition problems would be solved. But unfortunately. The same thing happens here. Making me sure I can't be an isolated case. It's not device specific. There is definitely something wrong with the apps audio file recognition.
And it's a major bug because being unable to use the tracks one likes makes the whole app worthless. A real shame because it's the best one out there.

Still no answer, no solution, just silence.
While I can reproduce the problem almost every time I load a new playlist with a bunch of mp3's
EVERY time there are files that can't be seen by CrossDJ
I'm currently on Oppo Find X2 Pro which has Android 10 (ColorOS 7.1) but I've also had the same problem on my previous device Oneplus 7T Pro (Android 10, OxygenOS) but also on an old Asus Tablet Running Android 7.
I've tried re-downloading the files (also from other source) with no luck.
Isn't anybody interested in solving this problem? I could provide the files that can't be seen by CrossDJ.
