nudge in Cross DJ android ?

Postby catgoat on 22 May 2018, 00:36

I have the paid version of Cross DJ android v3.2.6. Is there anyway I can nudge trakcs, like when i use the edges of my platters on my ddj-sr? i can't seem to wrap my head around sync, it's always jumping ahead a beat or two.

I just want to be able to hit a cue point then nudge the difference into place.

Not really sure what you mean, but could be you have to reduce or disable quantize value in settings.

Well in my controller and many that I have used, the top of the platter scratches but the sides just kinda nudge the track up or down. I basically would like to turn off scratch mode so I can use the platter (in the screen in Cross DJ Android)to make very small movements of the beats, to nudge them into place.

I read a review in digitaldjtips and it said you can just drag left or right in the platter to nudge , but it doesn't seem to work. anytime I touch the platter it scratches.

Hi catgoat,

You should be able to nudge in Cross DJ for Android by press and holding the center or spindle of the on screen platter. Then it should display a +, -, right, left and up arrows like so:

While still pressing the screen, moving your finger to the right or left will nudge the track. Moving your finger up will turn the entire platter into a tempo knob for finer adjustments then the fader provides.
