Hello, I tried connecting an external hard drive and flash drive to my Samsung tablet using a standard OTG cable, but Cross DJ cannot see the audio files. It can only see the folders. I was reading another thread which explained it had to do with how Cross DJ uses databases. But when I use an SD card, Cross DJ does see the audio files. Can somebody explain why?

Is there any chance that a new version will allow us to use external hard drives and flash drives? Thanks.

Sorry to say that I am actually a bit confused on this myself!

I was able to find some old posts from past team members saying that OTG drive support was going to be added in a coming update, and had assumed that it was implemented.

Unfortunately after some research I think the issue is caused by the fact that the Google Play Music app does not access music stored on an external drive and there doesn't seem to be a way to force it to do so.

I can bring this up with the team to see if my suspicion is correct.

I can use external hdd in my tablet. Which version you are using?

I am using the latest version of Cross DJ with Samsung Galaxy Tab A

I am also facing the same problem.
