It doesn't give me a update option. It says "latest developer update: 24 July 2015"

You can try to contact support by using this support option in the Advanced settings of the app.

This is mostly handled in French office hours. So we can't help you if the app doesn't auto update. (suppose you allow for non google store updates in your device settings?)

Yeah I've try contacting them thru the app, Facebook (they have read the message), email and no answer. Now I'm trying here.
My phone allows apps from other sources than Google store, yes.
For some reason the one I bought from amazon store stopped being updated in 2015.
