Track distortion

So I have gone through the whole forum and still can't solve this. I horrible distortion no matter what I do.

Galaxy Tab s2, Android 6
Cross DJ Pro
Insignia otg
Anker usb 3.0 powered hub
Wego2

I have shut down everything on the tab, wifi, bluetooth, everything.
in Cross I have tried all combinations of advanced settings. Possibly a combination I don't know exists.
Aside from that there is a latency issue, but that's second to the distortion. I have changed our rca cables, have gone through the headphone jack, it's there in all situations.
My only though is that possibly find a split otg that has seperate charging capability, but not sure.

Seems you tried normal options.
Just to be sure, what happens when you only use the tablet.

Btw latency and distortion most likely are related issues though usually shouldn't be at the same time.

Could it be some anti virus app is involved.

Do you use tracks from your tab or an external source.

I've turned off anti virus, and using internal tracks that I analyzed. I'm lost here. I've got an old lenovo tab that does not have the distortion, but it doesn't support the audio from the wego so I don't want to use it anymore.
When only using the s2 tab it's fine, no distortion or latency issues

If you have an USB2 hub you may want to give that a try.
Some USB3.0 hubs have issues with USB 1.1 devices (which many older controller models actually are).

So last night the tab upgraded to android n, now distortion is gone, but audio doesn't route through controller. Go figure ;)
