very helpful ,,been researching it ,, so otg has the female socket to accept the male usb plug do you have to use a male/male usb connector to connect to the powered usb hub ,, intent is to use U-Mix Control Pro 2 to control by MIDI,, this is all speculative ,,as the umcp2 might not be mapped ,, seen different info on this ,, so its a 50/50 chance ,,don't need this if its a negitive ,, will be getting a 32 gig micro sd card just out of reasoning that its will help out in the long run no matter what the use ,, thanks for the info ,,gotta say here thats a tough app ,,with the touch screen ,, any idea on getting the installed samples to use with the PC version , ,, will try to figure out how to tranfer them

OTG cable has some intelligence to handle different devices connected. A normal usb cable has no intelligence. do you have to use a male/male usb connector to connect to the powered usb hub ,,
Yes. all 'normal' usb connections are always male/male, as the equipment always is female. Extension of USB cable can be done but most cables loose power over its length, so you need high quality extension cable. Also be aware there are 3 basic types of usb cable: data+power (most), power only and data only. intent is to use U-Mix Control Pro 2 to control by MIDI,, this is all speculative ,,as the umcp2 might not be mapped ,, seen different info on this ,, so its a 50/50 chance ,,don't need this if its a negitive ,,
The play store info states UMCP2... so you can get a refund if it doesn't work will be getting a 32 gig micro sd card just out of reasoning that its will help out in the long run no matter what the use ,, thanks for the info ,,gotta say here thats a tough app ,,with the touch screen ,, any idea on getting the installed samples to use with the PC version , ,, will try to figure out how to tranfer them
Haven't checked were the files are, but most tabs can be connected to the PC and via explorer you can copy files.

next step got 32 bit micro sd card ,, started loading music , used drag and drop ,,too slow ,,used win media player to sync ,,moved about 150 songs ,, anyalising now, checking free space ,, kinda looks like i get about 2-3000 songs on the sd card ,, anylise process is slow ,, any way to sort the collection by bpm ,, found it ,,,by the anylise song tab is a drop down list for sorting
