Will new download erase or change any files or settings?

The new download looks very promising, but if I install it will it change any file associations, playlist access, scanned tracks, or settings from my current install?

That is, does the update install seamlessly over the old, or do things get changed by it?

Cross DJ is supposed to work like it did when updated.

If you're doing things with Cross data outside Cross you may have to be more specific.
