Trying to help a friend out.
When trying to sort the music by Genre, music does not show. You could see the different type of Genre but no music shows when you click on it. Friend Using Note4, thank you much.

Could you try using a different app to see if that works.
The genre list is generated by the genres mentioned for the tracks... so a bit strange.

If that works please also add info on android version in use. (and just to be sure the Cross DJ app version).

I apologize for the late response. The Cross DJ Free edition works fine the Cross DJ Pro is 1.5, Android Ver is 5.0.1, Thank you again.

CrossDJ Free 3.0.5
Android 4.4.2

If I have a song where I wrote in the GENRE field: "60th", "Funk", "House" "Remix" in the "10th",very good for dancing it gets an extra Symbol "§" and if I can use it for the 5 Rhythems it gets a "5R2" in the field GENRE. So this song has 7 items in the GENRE field.

Now, if I search for one item (example: "Funk") I want a list of songs not a list of many genres each with one song in it. At the PC with Traktor that works perfect. But CrossDJ is the only AndroidApp which knows a genre. Does the pro version this feature?

Pro version works the same.

Would indeed be nice if there would be an option to select which fields are being searched.
