Headphones and Android Tablet with Control Pro 2

What is the best way to use headphone PFL with an android tablet linked to U-Mix Control Pro, do i have to connect by OTG, and then use a splitter to route the output back in to the controller on the line input?

Connect android device with OTG to a powered hub.
Connect U-Mix Control Pro to the hub.
Verify settings if it doesn't work...

Thanks, will have to buy a new powered hub, mine has died. I did get things working by plugging the tablet direct to the controller and powering the Control Pro 2 from the 6volt input, but of course then the tablet is running on borrowed time as in maybe 4 hours whereas it would be charging from the hub. I used a splitter cable and I could then use cans.
