Cross is compatible with any soundcard and MIDI device.

Sure, this is just a normal mixer (with inbuilt mono splitter option). I've used the iPad version of Cross with iRig Mix.
Thinkpad X240, 8 Gb / 512Gb SSD
running Cross 3.4.3 64-bit
