App purchase issue

Postby Nidhi Sreenivas on 18 Jun 2014, 08:16

I have purchased the full package in the free app and unlocked all features but how do i change my application icon to the full version? Play Store still displays the full app as payable. Please advise.

There is a restore button on the app in store. Click on it it should work.

Hi,

There is no restore button, as on iOS.

It is not useful since Value pack is considered purchased, and that's it.

However, I will try to explain why the app is named Free.

On Play Store, there are two apps : Cross DJ Full (black icon) and Cross DJ Free (orange icon).

These two apps are different, since Google does not let us have a single app with a price, and with no price.

When downloading Cross DJ Free, you're installing an app with the name "Cross DJ Free".

When buying the value pack, you do not download a new app (Cross DJ Full ), you are just unlocking all the features from the Free Version.

That's why your app still has the name "Free", and still has the Orange Icon.
We would like to change some stuff when buying Value Pack, but it's kind of complicated since Android does not have feature to easily replace icon, or app name.

I hope you understood, and I was understandable :D
