Is there any possibility of unlocking the app in the Google Play store for this device? The NOOK HD+ is running a 1.5 GHz Dual-core. It should run Cross DJ perfectly fine.

I know I can root this device and make it work for me. Bur rooting devices sometimes causes other issues.

BTW I love your software. It's the best tablet DJ solution out there.

What is your OS Version? I'm pretty sure you're running Android < 4.1 and therefore are not compatible with the app

Is there any reason why it is only Android v4.1+?
I have 8 Android devices at home, all of which are v4.0x.

Can you tell me what from 4.1 you are using?

Several general reasons. 4.1 has some audio specific new options (when released). The upcoming android version even more.

Supporting 4.0 would mean having to support over 100 distributions of which many lack some of the functions needed for full use of current Cross DJ functions as result of manufacturer's decisions.

A rule of thumb that 4.1 hardware has better equipped hardware also avoids disappointments... (like sufficient memory, 'cpu' and use more than 4/8gb storage for having higher quality music files).

So it is not a specific decision by Cross, as the preference is to support as many as possible, but it has to work with what it is build for.
