I have a couple of questions

1/ I usually set bpm in iTunes..and set beatgrids in Traktor ...and then sync my tunes to Tablet where I use CrossDj - will the Androd App recognize the grids/bpm...or when I analyse in CrossDj will it start all over again ?

2/ I have a few tune showing up twice in playlists ....how can I delete from playlist ....and/or delete from music folders altogether

BPM value is written in tag of a track (if you allow editing it is overwritten upon your modifications).
Beatgrids are not part of a track-file.

So if you sync tracks, you only have BPM.

Cross uses medialib of device. The issue you mention did happen in the first version. Should not happen now.
Please make shure you have the latest update (think yesterday).

If you could check you media library in an other audio app to check. As you are synching several reasons for unintended duplicating are in place.

If a real problem, tech will be interested for sure...

Hi,

In CrossDJ for Android, we use the Android Media Base ( as we use iTunes media base in CrossDJ for iOS). The main issue here is there is no BPM information coming from Android Media Base: setting a BPM in iTunes will not keep it on our app.

So you need to reanalyze your tracks, since we keep the bpm info internally.

Concerning tracks in playlist :
By opening a playlist in our app and clicking on Edit button, you'll be able to remove tracks, and move tracks within the playlist.

However, if you really want to delete tracks from your device, you need to use a file Explorer App (such as AndroXplorer) or use Android File Transfer (or Kies for Samsung, or HTC Sync Manager for HTC One, etc...) on Mac to see folders in your device . In windows, I think you can see folders as soon as you plugged your device.

Important Note: If you delete tracks using Explorer App, sometimes the data you see on Android File Transfer are wrong. So, it's better to delete tracks using the method : device <--> computer.

I hope it's understandable !

Thanks ...yep , all helpful.

Is it possible to rewrite the BPM within CrossDj ? ....I'm finding it picks the bpm as double the correct amount sometimes

EDIT: have to check; reply below is valid for MAC/PC.
EDIT2: Not present. Likely will be in future; given info below...

See Preferences. 3 main options for BPM detection Range
50-100
75-150
100-200
It is close to impossible for analysis to do more than this. Usually the range is genre specific.

Within the decks you can click the pencil button, which opens the options to quick modify BPM: *2 or /2
