Any way to see iTunes playlists on Android App

Postby grapsta on 25 Jan 2014, 07:30

HI.
I'm trying to decide what type of tablet to buy..I really didn't want to buy an iPad - but I may have to unless there is a way to get iTunes on Android Tablet ...and/or a way to see iTunes playlists on the Android Cross DJ App . Does anyone know if this is at all possible...or will I have to go Apple ?

just curious, why would you have availablity of iTunes determine what device type to use.
Many alternatives doing similar jobs often with better soundengine.
Playlist can be exchanged between all OS as it are standard exchange format.
Track information usually is written in the track-file (where iTunes reads it from).

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

Well I use Serato ,CrossDj and especially Traktor ...all of which link straight to iTunes playlists...and I really like iTunes smart playlists. I have put all my DJ tunes into iTunes and now only have them in iTunes folder ( backed up on HDs of course ) .

Hi grapsta,

I think it's possible to import your iTunes playlists within an android device. I did not do a deep search but HTC Sync Manager, for example, has an automatic import from iTunes. And I'm pretty sure there is a free app that's doing that for you.
