Cheers Discopex. I'll give it a try and report back.

I don't expect Mixvibes to endorse another company's product, especially when it seems they've produced their own cable (is it available anywhere though?) but it would be helpful if there was more information available to users. This will be the third cable I've tried...

The Native Instruments cable works. Kudos to Discopex :) Today was a good day. I didn't try the Griffin cable btw but - based on Discopex' earlier explanation - I would presume it works, too.

Scrub that last post. Seemed to work fine in terms of splitting between headphones and speakers. Got to a venue the other night, warming up, realised that rather than splitting mono x2 it split left and right. That is, one stereo channel came through the headphones and the other through the speakers. Not good. Not good at all. 5 hour DJ set followed with no pre-cueing.

It could just be my tablet but given that I'm using one of the most popular android tablets available, (Samsung Galaxy 8), it would be odd if that were the case. Anybody else get anywhere with this? Overall the software is great but it's purely a recreational tool at present. No sound card compatability already represents a significant limitation but if you can't even split mono...

I also have a problem with pre cueing: the headphones and the speaker are given exactly the same things: I hear the same thing with both the speaker and the headphones... did anyone solve this problem?... I can't pre-cue

Do you use a dj-splitter. A normal splitter plug or cable does not work.
Also the mix fader should be in the right position for the intended master/cue ratio.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

Hi guys,
Has anyone solved this issue yet? I also get some of the pre cued track in the master mix and am unable to remove it.
I bought a griffin splitter cable that goes with the agoriddim DJ app, assuming they are all the same  . There are no instructions for this cable at all so I'm not sure what kind of split it does.
Is there a specific cable that works with this app or is it something that is dependent on the soundcard for different models?
Thanks

A DJ splitter of this type splits left and right of the stereo. Then it duplicates the mono signals to stereo for each plug out. So output is double mono for each plug.

A normal splitter duplicates stereo to both plugs.

So you either have a wrong splitter or you are lucky and just have the knob fader for Mix not fully left. By this tje master signal is routed to cue.

Thank you for the reply. I'm still not sure if I have the right cable, sorry.
This is the cable I have http://amzn.com/B00AE7D2HM.
I've played around with the headphone mix and I still get the same issue. the precue mix is quiet in the master but still audible. This cable is a new version of the Griffin GC 20007 that was recommended earlier in this topic. It definitely doesn't just duplicate the stereo in both plugs.
I guess the question is, is there a cable that definitely works with this app?
Thanks

No special cable needed. It just uses left and right just as many others with DJ cables.
If yoy have cue in master output than it is likely a physical issue. Make sure you properly connected. Dust or hair can also cause analogue signals transferring
