That's good to know ;)

I do not know how Google Play Music handles its own track list, since it's not open source, but I'll try to find a way to prevent such issue with corrupted database.

Thanks again for all the reports you made to understand this issue !

Hi Mixvibes!

I'am currently experiencing similar errors. I'am using FolderSync too sync my music files with a Google Drive folder. After the sync the media library will be rescanned and all new mp3's are added to the Android database. In Google Music all titles are displayed just once. But after the first sync with FolderSync all titles have a duplicate title as well:

I could easily delete the media database and rescan it and I would also have a clean database in Mixvibes... until the next sync with Google Drive which duplicates all items. Also I need to reanalyse all files after db reset which takes hours.

I have an Nexus 7 with Mixvibes Free 1.41 (Full Value Package) and I noticed it since my purchase of v1.3

Regards, Darius

If you check your device using an other audio app, do you have the duplicates there as well?
Cross uses the mediabase, so if that has duplicates due to the sync (problem?) it would just be what is in your mediabase, which could be a double entry.

Hi RoJeC,

thanks for you support, I did check Google Play Music and Rocket Player and both players are displaying my medialibrary just fine, even after the sync:

Hi,

Thanks for the report.
So music is synced through a folder contained in Google Drive right?
I never tried this... I need to check what's going on when doing so.

Nexus 7 2012 or Nexus 7 2013 ?
Android 4.4.4 ?

Hi,

yes, I got the Nexus 2013 edition with Android 4.4.4
And as I said in my firs post, I am using FolderSync for file synchronisation:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... rsync.lite

After the sync the app starts automaticaly the mediascanner to scan for new mediafiles. Maybe this is relevant for you :)

cheers

Yep, it's relevant. I'll check it, thanks for your investigation :)

I'm having the same issue, the scan is not picking up any new songs and its only happening in Cross.

Same here. After sync with syncme music titles are duplicated.

Cross DJ Pro 2.0.1
Nexus 7 (2012)
Android 4.4.4

Is there a workaround?

Do you only have this in Cross?
Cross uses the mediabase. Please check if the files have been duplicated there as well. In that case the sync didn't work as should.
