Hey Devs,

It's been a loong looong time since I posted here... but things don't stop, so here I go.

I recently got an LG G2, and literally the first thing I bought in Google Play store is the Cross DJ app.

About the LG G2 (App related):
- CPU: Snapdragon 800
- 2GB RAM
- 5.2" LCD Screen
- 3000mAh battery

I'm very surprised how good it is.

I have to report that is pretty stable, but can be a bit more stable.
I can experience delays, and cracking while doing too many stuff at once, and Quantize runs the CPU up very much.
The G2 has an average 1.2GB of RAm usage, so you end up having about 700MB free ram to run Cross DJ on.

Setting the phone for test:
- Any non used apps(RAM wipe)
- Flight mode turned on.
- Auto screen rotation off.
- Data streaming (3G, 4G, Wifi) turned off

Feedback from the Software itself:
- It's very good overall.
- Audio splitting option would be a must for the future
- As mentioned above audio splitting - Monitor function should be introduced.
For starters I would recommend two options:
a) Left right split for live gigs (one side master pother side monitor)
b) Stereo for both monitor and master, but the stereo output should be switchable (or using a Mix knob). Of course this should not interfere the master output for the recording.

- The crossfader act strangely, bounces around a lot, it does't detect accurate placement. Double tap centering don't work.
It would be better for the XF to actually snap to the position I put my finger on
- Have some skinning options, because the two wheels occupy too much scape. I would like to have two Pitch bend buttons so I can pit'ch bend during mixing and EQ-ing.

Further tests with this phone ill be posted in this thread. Recording test will be done soon.

BTW: keep up the good work, and you got the gutts to develop a Pro Android DJ app, and I'm ammased.

Ps: Can you we a version with the ability to remote control the Cross sofware on your computer with this app (as the remote up is only for iOS as far as I know).

Regards,
Ben

Hello,

Thanks it's a good idea to know which devices work which devices don't.
I am happy to read that your LG G2 is ready for Cross DJ.
New developments come soon.

Hey,
thanks for the feedback. It's good to know how our app behaves on device we don't own.

Concerning split and cue : split mono and cue monitoring will be available soon.

Concerning crossfader : It acts as the crossfader on iOS. I think (but it's my opinion) that it should be smoother and simple to handle. Right now, to move it, you have to touch the cap, and sometimes it's hard.
