Gemini Mix2GO Pro

Please Help! We just recently purchased a mix2go pro for my daughter and downloaded the required software for iPhone Cross DJ Free everything worked great. Now as she tried to play with the mixer are receiving two error messages that I do not know what they mean.
1st error message: Cross DJ-Track Error The Format is Unknown
2nd error message: Stream Error No audio data. Please check your network configuration, or maybe the audio file is invalid.
Can someone please help!!! Thank You!!

are the tracks you're playing located at the device?

Same for me. I try and access any file from sound cloud and it tells me invalid format. Even the ones that are on my iPad. This is bullshit I bought this for 200 bucks and now I can't even use it! I'm going to reach out to Gemini and see what they say already sent an email to Cross DJ ".... :redface: :cry: the Word censored (guess you find it I love walking on it) better work

We are aware of Soundcloud updating/changing their environment. AS they do not provide any info on what's technical going on it can only be fixed when it has become clear what they changed.

From the info of both users it may well be different issues. For that it's pretty important to know what file types give problem.
If e.g. local stored m4A files don't work it's quite different from streaming SC files not working.

At the forum we now have 2 reports of a maybe similar issue... So don't think Gemini is in the process of writing to MV yet.

For DJ's it's always good to realize that SoundCloud doesn't provide any guarantee as to availibility of tracks. Both because of DCMA removals (millions over the years) as because of restructuring the database.

No the tracks on not on the device. We are just trying to use sound cloud to stream the music

Yes i know the feeling all too well. Were pretty upset too as we cannot stream music using sound cloud and not able to use the controller at all. It is very frustrating I did reach out to Gemini and was told that I needed to reach out to mix vibes the issue is on there end not the manufacture. Hopefully we will get answers soon and my daughter can start using her Mix2Go Pro again

With some luck SoundCloud finished their modifications.
A new pricing/user model has been announced as per Today.

So with some additional luck the devteam can schedule a moment to dig into the changes and try to build it in the Cross apps/programs.

It isn't the first and likely not the last time SC changed the way of working, so be aware to have a contingency in place when you intend to DJ using SC for live audience...

Are you still having the same issues with your Mix2Go mixer? Do you know if there is another version of the app that is compatible with the mixer?
