iPad Remote

I'm pretty pissed, I bought the remote and it just doesn't work.
I'm pretty sure of it, my roomate has a doctorate in computer science, he couldn't get it to work neither...
I created the ad hoc network properly on my macbook pro (MAC OS 10.6.8) my iPad air is well connected on it, I understood the bug on the computer that I had to open the software in 32 bit mode mode in order to keep the f...ing "use remote apps" checked on,
but on the iPad remote it's just not possible to click on the status box sign plus to connect them together. Instead there's a warning sign leading to the document "configuring Cross DJ remote apps" in witch you can clearly see that this status box should be a plus sign and not a warning sign.
I precise that the wifi communication between the macbook pro and the iPad is well established (we tested it through the terminal). but the remote app software doesn't seem to be agree with it.
Does someone from mixvibes have any tips ?

By the way... I have succeeded test's with my iPhone 6. I can't explain why it works with the iPhone. And don't work with an iPad. I leave this issue to the angeniring's dudes!!!
