Adding to mix recording

Hi,
I'm new to Cross DJ for the iPad - a great app. What I want to know is I've created a long automix which I want to record.
I recorded the first 25mins or so of it which saved successfully. Can I then go into that recorded mix and continue where I left off using tracks from my automix to create a longer mix?

No you can't.
Unless you start by playing your first mix...

That's a pity and a bit of an oversight in the set up for recording. Might be worth considering for future updates of the app.

I doubt if this will ever be added as a feature.

First thing you would need is to cut the end so you have a decent transition to the new part, which means rerendering the old part. So not as easy as it may seem.
Even if it would do this a restart is likely to be causing glitches (delay of like 1ms, change in volume, shifted beat) so you would end up having to edit the join by using a sound editor anyway.

Lots of tools around to help you to join tracks if you like. Like Audicity (free). This will also show what features may be needed to make a clean join...

Thanks for that advice. If you can import the file into another prog like Audicity that's great - I've got that already as well as Magix, so I'll give both a go.
