When tap the song section of the iPad to look up a song from my library no track list appears it just keeps reloading the playlists and the eventually freezes and sometimes Cross software on the laptop crashes.

This is what is happening to me. I have iPad mini with iOS 8.1.2 on it, and it connects okay, but in the smartlists, it only shows a icon without the name of the song, and it locks up straight away.

Have you tried with running Cross at your MAC in 32 bit mode (right click on icon).

Hi, thanks for the suggestion Roland. I am running a PC with WIN 7 Home Premium and I have just tried running Cross DJ as 32 bit, but still the same problem. I have also done both ad-hoc network and connected to wireless lan.

I have just bought the iPhone Cross Remote App: latest version. It doesn't seem to work with either my iOS 6.1.6 iPhone 3GS and my iPhone 5S with iOS 8.3. CrossDJ (full version) (Mac OS X 10.8.5) doesn't seem to recognize the device whatever I do. I tried to disable the Firewall without succes. Is there a new version in the works? I have a gig in 2 weeks and want to use is as it's a shift of 2x 4hrs ;-)

Yes I have tried also running CrossDJ in 32-bit mode. I have created a local Network on Channel 1 with the 40-bit WEP security and a 5 character password. I have tried to connect with both iOS 6.1.6 and iOS 8.3 iPhone (3GS/5S). I see a network address in my iPhone so there seems to be a connection. I have even disabled the Firewall for testing purposes. In CrossDJ it keeps on saying: Disconnected.

I have not added my DJ Controller RMX2 but I assume it is not needed for testing purposes.

I have paid 5 euros for this remote so I hope someone is going to fix this. I want to be able to remote Cross from my iPhone 5s running iOS 8.3 / 8.4 (in the coming days). On my MacBook Pro I use Mac OS X 10.8.5. Please tell me how Cross 3.3.10 software is going to find the Cross RMT? What protocols are used? Do I need to add something to the firewall ? Can I find something in the logs?

Can anybody answer my questions? I really would like to have this fixed! Please, tell me how I can investigate the communication mechanisms of my iPhone 5s and my MacBook Pro.
