U-Mix Control Pro 2 becoming non responsive with iPad air

Hi all,

I have been using the software on my mac for some time and am very happy with it.

I recently got an iPad air and have tried using the U-Mix Control Pro 2 with the Apple camera connect kit in Cross DJ (iOS).

The control works well for maybe 2 minutes before the control surface becomes non responsive, and any tracks playing are paused. The software is able to continue playing the tracks once more when using the iPad and all functions seem to work on the iPad itself but not the controller. Turning the system off/on sometimes works, but again pauses any audio. There is no error on screen when this happens. I have tried searching the forum with no luck.

Any help or advise would be appreciated

Did you installed the last version (1.4.2)? You're not the first to report this problem, people who reported it told us it's ok with the 1.4.2.

When I realised the fault I ensured that both the app and iPad were up to date

Cross DJ 1.4.2
iOS 7.0.4

After speaking with Luziano via PM we got the issue that was the USB hub itself and nothing to do with Cross DJ or the UMCP2.

Swapping out the USB hub for a new one has seen no further issues.

....and yes I do feel like a muppet right now
