Audio output query!

Hi Guys,
Will mixvibes Cross for my new iPad (3) output a stereo signal using the Apple HDMI adapter then going to a stereo RCA input? I would be using a standard male hdmi lead to a 5 male RGA composite cable (obviously, I'm only interested in the left/right audio signal so the other three RCAs would be left redundant, which is fine by me)
Any chance you could answer this before I spend lots of money on cables if for any reason this will not work?
I'm really not a fan of splitting the feed from the headphone socket unless its absolutely necessary. Two monos then going to two stereo sources just isn't a great solution. I know it's the hardware but if this is a possible option then my technics decks better watch their backs!!
I look forward to your response.
Ps - I ask this mainly because it's clear from your demo video on your site the HDMI adapter is clearly being used so I am extremely positive about this possibility. :-)
Good job on the new app by the way, it seems mostly brilliant for a first version - very exciting, looking forward the updates and improvements already. A very decent and best DJ app on the iPad in my humble opinion (I have over 20 yrs of DJ'ing experience and I have tried most of them so hopefully my compliment counts for something)
